Xiaomi Redmi 3s jsem zvolil kvůli zajímavé ceně a velké baterii 4100 mAh. A fajn bylo, že zrovna se začali objevovat globální verze telefonů Xiaomi, které podporují české LTE frekvence (B20, 800 Mhz). Vynikající je také fórum miuios.cz. Tam najdete (ve slovenštině) podrobný návod, jak přejít na českou ROM vyvíjenou členy tohoto fóra. Nová ROM vychází každý týden, OTA aktualizace pak každý měsíc. Zásadní problém jsem měl s odemknutím bootloaderu. Oficiální povolení na žádost u Xiaomi jsem dostal bez problémů, ale jejich utilita pro unlock se v procesu vždy zasekla na 50 % s tím, že telefon není připojen. 2 dny jsem se s tím trápil, ale řešení nakonec bylo jednoduché. Zkusil jsem to na počítači s Windows 7 32bit. Problém byl s ovladači. Ty jsem nebyl schopen rozchodit ani na dvou PC s Windows 10 64bit a jednou Windows 10 32bit. Hned jsem nahodil Nova Prime rozhraní a na MIUI se dá docela dobře zvyknout. IPS HD panel je pěkný, ale v porovnání s Amoled u Samsung Galaxy S2 černá není černá. O něco jemnějsí rozlišení (300 dpi vs 240 dpi) je však opravdu fajn. Stejně tak cena (17 tis. Kč u SGSII vs 3 200 Kč u 3S). Za těch 5 let k určité pokroku v mobilní sféře evidentně došlo. Přestože úložiště zůstalo stále na chabé hodnotě 16GB, hladký běh systému je u nového stroje velmi znát.
Windows 10 Start Menu Not Working
Sometimes I feel not like a standard Windows user (customer) who should pay money for the product. I feel rather like a beta (or alpha) tester (without realy providing the feedback). I am not inthe Insider Preview – I cannot imagine to receive updates which would be even less ready to go.
Anyway, after last update start menu from my Windows 10 Enterprise did not appear when I click on the icon. Also search icon did nothing. I had to reinstall all Windows Store application to enable the functionality.

Soon I mentioned that also Windows Store and all Store application do not work. And it is not possible to install Windows Store via PowerShell. So let´s downgrade to the previous build (this helped).

Ve Windows lze vytvořit speciální složku s novou strukturou nastavení Windows. Stačí např. na ploše vytovořit novou složku a pojmenovat ji: „BožskýMód.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}„. Získáte rychlejší přístup k některým nastavením systému.
Windows 10: automatic desktop icon rearranging and folder view updates errors
With Windows 10, I have experienced slow updates of desktop icons. When I add a file to desktop, no icon appeared and I had to refresh. But now, all desktop icons are automatically arranged alphanumerically on left side of the screen. When I move an icon and hit refresh, the icon goes back to left. That is an annoying error (no, I do not have auto-arrange-icons turned on). I thought the solution would be quite simple because I was not the only one with this error on the internet. But none of suggested solutions worked for me. I had to use a software called Fences (by Stardock) to keep icons at their places. When I hit refresh, icons go left first, but then they are moved to their right places by Fences.
UPDATE: I mentioned that also folder view settings is not persistent. And I have found a workaround on the net. The issue is caused by ESET (Antivirus or Security). Synology NAS DS213+ WebDAV in Windows 10
Help in DSM system advice to use a third-party applications for WebDAV service, e.g. NetDrive. The application works reasonably well, in the demo version it allows to connect to only one network drive. I struggled to join my drive through standard windows environment. In DSM’s help, there is a note about you have to use SSL version of WebDAV in Windows. So the way is to create a security certificate for you NAS, you can do that for free in the DSM. Next, export the certificates (ca, server) and import them to your personal computer. For creating a connection through windows, use something like ipaddress:port/folder (s https) to map your drive. The port should be usually 5006 and folder is not necessary to be stated, if you want to map the whole disk. Then type in your login and password and the shortcut to access your server remotely through WebDAV is created. Works like a charm.
Recently, CardDAV also started working on DS213+ along to CalDAV. I was able to synchronize both contacts and calendar on my Android phone with the server. Unfortunately, there is no official app by Synology for Android and the use of third-party software was a little bit complicated. If you do not know which address you should type to the phone to synchronize contacts, use the DSM help. There you can find help how to create the link.

Návodů či prográmků, jak si vytvořit bootovací USB flash disk, najdete na internetu jistě velké množství. Pokud je však vaším cílem vytvořit bootovací flash disk s Windows 7/8/10, nejlepší řešení je využít nástroj přímo od Microsoftu, který se jmenuje Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool. Jeho ovládání je primitní, stačí zvolit soubor ISO a USB či DVD výstup. Flash disk se naformátuje na NTFS, takže se smažou všechna stará data. Pokud váš BIOS neumí bootavat z NTFS, je nutné z flash disku data zálohovat, naformátovat na FAT32 a data zase vrátit zpátky. Doporučený je flash disk velikosti 8GB, ale i 4GB by měl fungovat.
